About the Role
TraceLink is seeking a highly collaborative, strategic, and agile Senior Director of People Development & Partnerships to lead our HR Business Partners and Learning & Development functions across our global footprint. This role is critical in aligning our people strategy with business goals worldwide, fostering leadership and organizational effectiveness, and scaling talent programs in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and a key thought partner to the Chief People Officer, helping to shape talent, culture, and change initiatives across the organization globally. Success in this role requires a high degree of adaptability, strong relationship-building skills, and a deep commitment to collaboration across HR functions in a high-impact, cross-functional, and globally distributed team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a team of HR Business Partners and L&D professionals across multiple regions to deliver integrated, strategic support that enhances business outcomes and employee experience.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders on leadership effectiveness, team alignment, performance enablement, and employee engagement.
- Lead the team in designing and scaling programs globally including onboarding, learning path creation, leadership development, functional learning, and career pathing.
- Leverage generative and agentic AI tools to modernize learning strategies, personalize development, and improve workforce agility across regions.
- Partner with HR and business leaders globally on organizational design and development initiatives to improve team dynamics, role clarity, and operating efficiency—leveraging data, metrics, and dashboards to inform decision-making and measure impact.
- Drive enterprise-wide, global talent planning efforts, including succession planning, capability development, and growth readiness.
- Lead change management initiatives to support organizational shifts across diverse markets, developing clear frameworks, communication plans, and coaching approaches.
- Model Agile practices in HR, continuously iterating on programs, using feedback loops, and driving incremental improvements in how we deliver value globally.
- Collaborate with People Operations, Field HR, and Talent Acquisition teams worldwide to ensure alignment and consistency across the full employee lifecycle.
- Champion TraceLink’s Leadership Principles by demonstrating grit, ownership, solution orientation, and a commitment to customer success across all regions.
Qualifications and Skills
- 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership of HRBP and/or L&D functions in a global, matrixed organization.
- Proven success aligning people strategies with business goals in fast-paced, scaling, and internationally distributed environments.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-moving, constantly evolving organizations—comfortable with ambiguity, collaborative problem-solving, thoughtful risk-taking, and navigating cultural differences.
- Deep expertise in org design, talent management, employee relations, and leadership development across multiple geographies.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements across key regions, with a commitment to staying current on evolving legislation and regulatory changes.
- Demonstrated ability to operate with humility, flexibility, and a focus on shared success; comfortable navigating flexible role boundaries and prioritizing business needs over functional silos or individual recognition.
- Skilled in executive communication, coaching, influence, and stakeholder management in global settings.
- Experience with change management, people analytics, and high-impact talent initiatives at scale.
- Proficiency with HR systems (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse) and a strong interest in AI-driven HR solutions.
