Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Machine Operator with experience operating CNC lathes (no programming required) and forklifts. This is a full-time, first-shift position ideal for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC lathes to perform routine production tasks (no programming required)
- Load and unload materials using a forklift
- Inspect parts for quality and accuracy using measuring tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Requirements:
- Prior experience operating CNC lathes (no programming necessary)
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable transportation or ability to commute via public transit
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
