Job Summary
Big Sandy Community & Technical College is seeking a Facilities Worker II to work primarily second shift at our the Prestonsburg campus.
Job Duties:
- Maintains grounds to insure the proper time to care for plants, water, reseeds all
- landscape and grounds plantings such as grass, trees, shrubs and flowers.
- Maintains related landscaping and grounds maintenance equipment.
- Mows, weed-eats/edges, and removes snow utilizing mowing machines and other equipment.
- Order and pick up supplies as needed.
- Performs room set-up for events, assembles and delivers furniture, and moves and/or
- hauls equipment/furniture as needed.
- Includes custodial work as needed such as cleaning, disinfecting, floor
- maintenance, and trash disposal.
- Assists with routine maintenance on campus.
- May have to travel to assist at other campuses or work other shifts as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
1 to 2 years Experience Preferred.
