Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our team on the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a sit-down forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, and transport materials and products throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily equipment checks to ensure safe operation.
- Accurately pick, stage, and move materials according to work orders and shipping schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity goals.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of recent sit-down forklift experience (certification preferred).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Must be able to work the full 2nd shift schedule (5:30 PM – 2:00 AM, Monday through Friday).
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
