Outside Sales
Our client in the Lake Forest area is seeking an Outside Sales Rep to join their growing team! This role will begin focusing on 'inside sales functions' until converted onto the client, where you will then be responsible for going out into the field.
Company Overview:
Our client is a family owned, international manufacturer and wholesale company who have been in business for over 30+ years! Their sales team is currently a team of 3, and they are wanting to hire an additional Outside Sales Rep.
Job Highlights:
- Temp to Hire
- Base salary of $50k-$55k, based on experience
- Quarterly commissions paid out and potential for EOY bonuses
- Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm
- Onsite in Lake Forest, IL
- In office 2 days/week
- Visiting customers out in field 3 days/week

Job Responsibilities:
- Work with missing & existing customer accounts, while also trying to obtain new accounts
- Visit customers in the Greater Chicagoland area and Southern areas of Wisconsin (up to Green Bay)
- Cold calling, emailing, and weekly in person reaches (100-150/week, based on season)
- Ordering sample products
- Create marketing material to share with customers
- Forecasting sales trends
Ideal Candidate:
- 2-3+ years of experience within the building industry, stone preferred
- Looking for candidates who are creative, self-starters, have excellent communication skills, customer focused, team players
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs when needed
- NetSuite and Microsoft Office experience highly preferred
