Team Leadership & Collaboration

• • Lead and manage a diverse team of QA engineers and Game developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Ensure the quick delivery of high-quality branded games, based on our growing portfolio of original games
  • Work closely with game designers, product managers, compliance and support teams to align branded development strategies with company objectives.
  • Provide mentorship, feedback, and technical guidance to the team, promoting professional growth and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with game and math designers, art, and animation teams to ensure top-quality game products built through an optimised workflow.
  • Monitor and manage development timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure projects stay on track.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, addressing any risks or roadblocks that could impact delivery.
  • Identify and manage organisational or technical dependencies thus avoiding any blocking situations for the team

Game Development Oversight

• • Oversee the overall game development lifecycle for branded games from initiation to release.
  • Ensure that each game project meets deadlines, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
  • Actively contribute to the game development process, working hands-on in building upcoming games through development and/or testing
  • Continuously increase the process automation leading to the delivery of branded content to minimise time to market
  • Leverage experience with Jenkins,TypeScript, JavaScript, Git, Node.js to ensure that best practices are upheld
  • Align the team’s approaches with the overall company guidelines to ensure consistency within the Rubyplay ecosystem
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions to maintain a smooth development process.

Industry Knowledge & Innovation

• • Stay up-to-date on trends and developments in the online gambling industry, ensuring RubyPlay remains competitive in its game offerings.
  • Continuously assess and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies to enhance game development processes.

What Makes You A Strong Candidate:

• 5+ years of experience in game development, with a strong focus on the online gambling industry.
• 1+ years of demonstrated experience leading game development teams, delivering high-quality slots or casino games.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve development problems, ensuring seamless delivery of game products.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a remote team, open to giving and receiving feedback.
• Strong problem-solving skills, result oriented approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire teams.
• Good understanding of OOP, CI/CD and Testing strategies
• Experience in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES5/ES6), Pixi.js, Java, Git is preferred.
