We're seeking a Service Technician for an equipment company! This is an evaluation hire and pays $18-$22/HR.
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Service Technician to perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on a variety of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on technical ability, and a commitment to safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or plumbing issues
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Document all services performed and maintain accurate records
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding repairs and service needs
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and OSHA standards
- Operate power tools
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance, repair, or a related trade
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or HVAC systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments
Preferred Skills:
- HVAC certification, EPA license, or journeyman license (a plus)
- Forklift certification or experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
