Salary: $19.00-20.50/hr BOE

Express Employment Professionals is currently teaming up with an ink manufacturing company in Amherst recruiting for Converting Operator.

Hours:

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, every other Saturday from 7:00PM – 7:00AM (must be available to train on day shift for 2-3 weeks Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm)

Payrate: $19.00-20.50/hr BOE

Responsibilities:

• Continuous safe and efficient operation of slitting machines and shrink wrap. This includes set-up, operation, change over, trouble shooting, and routine maintenance
• Perform daily audits for quality and tool inspection
• Quality control to insure products being run consistently meets expectations

Qualifications:

• Previous operation of slitting and/or spooling equipment a plus, robotics experience a plus
• Good math and reading skills, basic PC skills and ability to interpret specifications and SOPs.
• 6 months of machine operation experience is required
• Must be flexible with scheduling to work different shifts
