Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Warehouse Receiver position for a Tyler, Tx, company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
Essential Duties:
- General duties involving physical handling of products, materials, and supplies
- Participation in the continual development and improvement of warehouse standard operating procedures for the facility
- Safe operation of all warehouse equipment
- Troubleshoot receiving or shipping discrepancies
- Meeting daily receiving and shipment responsibilities
- Ensuring work areas are clean and organized
- Filling in for other positions as needed
- Periodic bending, kneeling, twisting, lifting 50+ pounds, and climbing
Technical Skills or other Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment
- Periodic bending, kneeling, twisting, lifting 50+ pounds, and climbing
- Operating RF Scanner to track quantities for shipping and inventory purposes
- Effective communication skills to interact with internal and external customers and suppliers
- Strong time management skills, detail-oriented, and committed to quality
- Ability to drive results without a great deal of direct supervision
- Sitdown forklift experience but not necessary
- 2 years + in a receiving/shipping, or distribution center operation
