Master s Degree in Education, Agriculture, Natural Resources or related field. A minimum of five years of experience in creating, implementing, and delivering educational and recreational programming to include experience with agricultural or farming programming and supervisory experience is required. Must possess a valid Driver s License.
As the Director, Cooperative Extension you will work jointly with UF/IFAS Extension and Miami Dade County Parks, Recreation, and Open Spaces Departments. As the CED and Extension agents, you will provide leadership and support for administering and supervising the total extension program within Miami Dade County. Your guidance will be informed by an advisory committee that addresses the diverse needs of the county’s population, aiming to enhance community capacity through effective leadership.
