Position is located in Ottawa County, Oak Harbor, Ohio.
The Extension Educators Coordinator 3, 4-H will work administratively under the Area Leader and programmatically with the 4-H Youth Development Educator. A requirement for this position is teaching in the 4-H School Enrichment/4-H Afterschool programs, as well as coordinating the county's Cloverbud program, including, but not limited to Cloverbud Day Camp and training for Cloverbud counselors. The Extension Educators Coordinator 3, 4-H will assist the 4-H Educator with preparation for Junior Camp and will attend camp on Kelleys Island as a member of the adult camp staff; assist the 4-H Educator with program development for Junior Leadership; and coordinate the 4-H CARTEENS program.
He/she will coordinate 4-H project evaluation events - hiring judges, judging paperwork, state fair paperwork; assist the 4-H Educator with other Jr. Fair duties at the Ottawa County Fair. The 4-H Program Assistant will be expected to work cooperatively with local 4-H volunteers and members in the organization and management of the Ottawa County 4-H Youth Development Program. This includes assisting with various 4-H tasks and events, such as project evaluations, 4-H promotional events, Cultivate the Clover Dinner/Auction, and fair. He/she will maintain the 4-H portion of the county website, maintain 4-H social media account, and assist with editorial duties for quarterly newsletter.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.
The pay range for this profile is $16.65 - $21.77/hourly. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit’s available budget, and the candidate’s qualifications.
