Do you want to work on complex and pressing challenges—the kind that bring together curious, ambitious, and determined leaders who strive to become better every day? If this sounds like you, you’ve come to the right place.
In this role you will drive how CSTs, Capabilities and Insights colleagues, Assets, and Practices engage with external capabilities to enhance client service.
Leveraging a Category Management approach, you will develop a deep understanding of practice strategies, client needs, use cases, and knowledge priorities, using this insight to build a robust external capabilities ecosystem.
You will shape an evolving portfolio of third-party resources, identifying opportunities to upgrade or complement existing offerings, and ensuring external capabilities align with the firm’s innovation agenda.
You will engage and collaborate with Partners, Experts, Directors, and Asset Leaders to ensure that the right external resources are deployed at the right time, helping teams deliver distinctive client impact. You will also be responsible for supporting high-value investment initiatives, overseeing the incubation of new external capabilities, and help steward some of the Firm’s most complex and high-stakes investments. In doing so, you will provide strategic guidance on third-party relationships, streamline account dynamics, and work closely with senior account executives to shape commercial agreements that drive long-term, sustainable outcomes.
Risk management and compliance will be key aspects of your role. You will collaborate with Legal, Risk, and Finance teams to assess and mitigate third-party risks, protect intellectual property, and implement best-in-class governance frameworks. Your ability to balance commercial needs with firm priorities will be critical in shaping an external capabilities strategy that is both innovative and secure.
You will contribute to strengthening the firm’s external knowledge strategy by codifying best practices and sharing insights across eC&I. Your role will also involve monitoring emerging market trends, tracking competitive dynamics, and staying ahead of new entrants and industry developments. Additionally, you will help drive efficiencies in vendor management processes, optimize investment recovery planning, and ensure seamless integration of external resources into firm operations.
Driving lasting impact and building long-term capabilities with our clients is not easy work. You are the kind of person who thrives in a high performance/high reward culture - doing hard things, picking yourself up when you stumble, and having the resilience to try another way forward.
In return for your drive, determination, and curiosity, we'll provide the resources, mentorship, and opportunities you need to become a stronger leader faster than you ever thought possible. Your colleagues—at all levels—will invest deeply in your development, just as much as they invest in delivering exceptional results for clients. Every day, you'll receive apprenticeship, coaching, and exposure that will accelerate your growth in ways you won’t find anywhere else.
