Job Summary
The Georgia Department of Education - School Improvement Division is recruiting for a School Effectiveness Specialist. Under the direction of the Area Program Manager, the School Effectiveness Specialist provides specific coaching support for principals, assistant principals, leadership teams, instructional coaches, department chairs, and teachers to develop capacity in improving leadership and instruction. This position will be responsible for assisting a portfolio of schools in developing, implementing, and monitoring a comprehensive plan to improve instruction for all students. Additionally, this position will monitor progress of each school through on-site school visits and online through platform. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

High school diploma/GED and seven (7) years of program management experience; or two (2) years of experience required at the lower level Education Prgm Spec 3 (EDP032) or position equivalent.
