We're looking for a Senior Lead Full Stack Engineer to be the foundational technical hire at a fast-growing, operations-driven startup revolutionizing real-world workflows through AI. This is a high-impact, hands-on role—you’ll architect and build scalable software and AI-infused tools that connect digital intelligence with physical operations like kitchen management, inventory optimization, and smart automation. You’ll work directly with the CEO and cross-functional stakeholders to turn ideas into deployed systems. If you're passionate about building LLM-capable, event-driven full stack platforms, designing around real-time data, and eventually leading a team, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do:

• Build scalable full-stack applications (React, Node.js, Python/FastAPI)
• Architect and deploy AI-enhanced workflows using OpenAI, LangChain, Pinecone, and similar tools
• Work closely with stakeholders to automate ops, extract insights from unstructured data (PDFs, cameras, logs), and enable intelligent decision-making
• Own CI/CD pipelines, observability, and reliability from day one
• Help grow and mentor an engineering team over time

Ideal Background:

• 5+ years full stack engineering, 2+ in a lead or senior role
• Proven experience integrating AI/ML APIs or frameworks into production systems
• Strong with vector databases, real-time messaging (Kafka, WebSockets), and cloud-native architecture
• NYC-based- Hybrid Environment
• No visa sponsorship (US Citizens or Green Card holders)
• Tech Stack:
• React, Node.js, Python/FastAPI, Kubernetes, AWS, OpenAI API, Pinecone, LangChain, Kafka, GitHub Actions, Figma

Compensation: $200,000 - 250,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
