Do you want to work on complex and pressing challenges—the kind that bring together curious, ambitious, and determined leaders who strive to become better every day? If this sounds like you, you’ve come to the right place.
You will support McKinsey consultants and clients in the TMT industry by collecting, summarizing, analyzing, and synthesizing information that helps solve specific business problems, with a focus on the LATAM and US markets.
You will leverage your industry experience to be a thought-partner to client teams and clients in order to prioritize research activities which will have the most impact. You will identify the data, information, and/or analysis that will support problem-solving efforts and you will conduct timely, cost-effective research.
Additionally, you will synthesize findings by preparing McKinsey formatted end-products to include written memos, numerical analysis, and/or presentations. You will have the opportunity to develop industry knowledge and expertise, both general and specific in the TMT sector focusing primarily on Software, IT Services, and other High Tech topics.
You will be able to codify knowledge and help support the continuous improvement of our knowledge operations and infrastructure, innovating firm knowledge and knowledge delivery through special projects (both with client teams and on a stand-alone basis).
You will work in the San Jose office in Costa Rica and will be a part of our Client Capabilities Network (CCN), focused mainly on Telecom, Media and Technology topics.
Our global CCN, which includes more than 1,800 knowledge professionals, work alongside our consultants and clients to generate distinctive insights and proprietary knowledge. You will work with this group to help develop, codify, sanitize, and manage our global knowledge portal, which includes more than 50,000 documents that form the backbone of our firm's knowledge management.
You will be part of McKinsey’s Global TMT (High Tech, Media and Telecom) practice, focusing on priority topics like Telecom Infrastructure, Software, Consumer Media and Telecom topics.
You will work closely with our global virtual TMT knowledge network team consisting of ~70 colleagues from across the globe.
Driving lasting impact and building long-term capabilities with our clients is not easy work. You are the kind of person who thrives in a high performance/high reward culture - doing hard things, picking yourself up when you stumble, and having the resilience to try another way forward.
In return for your drive, determination, and curiosity, we'll provide the resources, mentorship, and opportunities you need to become a stronger leader faster than you ever thought possible. Your colleagues—at all levels—will invest deeply in your development, just as much as they invest in delivering exceptional results for clients. Every day, you'll receive apprenticeship, coaching, and exposure that will accelerate your growth in ways you won’t find anywhere else.
