Job Description
Assembles, analyzes for completeness and prepares documentation on deficiencies of medical records.
Job Responsibility
- Assembles medical records according to a predetermined format.
- Analyzes medical records for completeness of documentation in accordance with policies, JCAHO and NYS Department of Health requirements.
- Assigns documentation deficiencies to responsible physicians by inputting into a computerized chart completion system.
- Performs related duties, as required.

Job Qualification
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Minimum of one (1) year related work experience, required.
- Knowledge of medical record department and medical record science, required.
- Knowledge of Medical terminology through the completion of a medical record certificate program or work related experience, required.
- Data entry experience, required.
