This is Full-Time Benefit Eligible position working 80 hours per biweekly pay period.
Shift: Weekdays with Occasional Weekends and After Hours

Annual Salary: Min $61,152.00 Mid $76,419.20
Position Summary
Responsible for planning and managing the operations of hospital housekeeping duties as well as adding support to laundry and linen evening operations. Works with department leadership to review standards of work,
procedures, inspects and evaluates physical condition of the hospital and helps develop and administer department policies, procedures and budgets in order to meet department and hospital goals and objectives. Provides leadership to
supervisors within areas of responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and codes. Ensures customer needs are met and maintains positive relationship with internal customers. Participates in the quality
improvements process through team participation, team leadership and data gathering and monitoring. Utilizes moderate to advanced computer skills with data bases, spread sheets and word processing.

- Standard Work Duties: Manager, EVS
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in designated areas of departmental responsibilities.
- Manages departmental operations to include, work schedules, work processes, and QA inspections.

- Assist with leadership direction for functions and activities of the department

Competencies & Skills
Essential:
- Five to seven years healthcare environmental environment.
Nonessential:
- Office Suites: Microsoft, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
- Knowledge of technical aspects of the hospital cleaning procedure, project work and specialty cleaning.
- Environmental management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with staff and patients.
- Strong interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively with various hospital personnel in providing service and in order to lead and manage department personnel.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential: Bachelor Degree
Experience Essential:
Five to ten years in healthcare supervision
Five to ten years with Customer Service Skills
