We are seeking an On-call expert-level Resource Analyst to support a NASA contract in Greenbelt, MD.

Job Description:

Highly experienced and proactive Senior Resource Analyst to provide on-call training and mentorship support to our Resource Analysis team. In this flexible role, you will contribute to the development of training materials, offer coaching to junior analysts, and help advance the team’s overall capability as needed. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in financial planning and analysis, strong communication skills, and a passion for sharing knowledge in a collaborative, support-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities to perform as needed:

Training & Mentorship:

  • Develop, maintain, and deliver comprehensive training materials, guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Resource Analyst functions.
  • Conduct onboarding and skills-based training sessions to upskill team members and promote best practices.
  • Serve as a mentor and subject matter expert to junior and mid-level Resource Analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and knowledge transfer.
  • Foster a collaborative learning environment that supports cross-training and continuous improvement.
  • Additional duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in financial/resource analysis, preferably supporting NASA or government-funded projects.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver training programs and mentor others.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP, Business Objects (BOBJ), and advanced Excel skills.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Individual must meet government NAC and citizenship/permanent residency requirements for access to NASA GSFC. Extensive background investigation will be performed as a requirement of the job. Some travel may be required.
