IT Graduate for Software Engineering Position in Finance Tribe

Join us in the Finance Tribe where we have a substantial backlog of initiatives, delivering on our goals to provide fast and correct financials to investors, regulators, and internal decision-makers - as well as optimize the management of the financial resources in Danske Bank.

We have made huge progress in the Finance Tribe exploiting public cloud (AWS) for the benefit of our users and customers. We have the target to have all our application landscape running on public cloud within a short timeframe.

Your Team

You will be part of a team comprised of .NET developers, BI Engineers, DevOps professionals, IT System Analysts, and Business Analysts. This cross-functional squad is committed to deliver global technology solutions across all financial domains. We are about 150 software engineers and 240 people all in all.

Our team operates primarily from Vilnius and Copenhagen, following a hybrid work model. We expect team members to be present in our brand-new Copenhagen office 3-4 days a week - with the possibility to work from home other days.

You will

• Get an opportunity to work with modern technologies in a historical bank setting.
• Collaborate closely with the team to build the target architecture on AWS
• Ensure all code deployment is done via CI/CD pipelines, and all application code is stored in version control
• Ensure all infrastructure is created using Terraform and modules for AWS
• Work in an agile & collaborative manner within internationally (Denmark and Lithuania) distributed squad
• Be working closely with other developers to ensure development is in par with development guidelines and best practices
• Seek continuous learning and improvement for yourself and your team

About You

• Just recently finished a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Possess a great understanding of computer systems, networks, and software.
• Good problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both in a team and individually.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in AWS would be a bonus.
