Premier HealthCare, part of the YAI Network, is currently seeking a Full-Time Medication Coordinator to work in our Manhattan outpatient medical facility.

Key/Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Respond to medication requests from pharmacies, patients, home health agencies, etc. for all five of our PHC locations
  • Make appointments for patients, coordinate with providers and ensure medication renewal requests are processed as appropriate
  • Submit medication prior authorization claims on behalf of providers
  • Act as liaison between clinician and patient regarding any communication involving medications· Collaborate with multidisciplinary team in ensuring optimal care is provided to patient
  • Performs all other duties, as assigned

Minimum Qualification Requirements including education, experience, licensure/certification, etc. and essential physical capabilities (e.g. lifting, assisting lifting, standing, etc.)

  • HS diploma
  • Prior experience working in a fast paced clinical or hospital setting
  • Proficient computer skills

Preferred Qualification Requirements (desired requirements beyond MQRs above)

  • Licensed as a medical assistant in the state of NY
  • Experience working with an EMR/HER system
  • Bilingual

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm

Pay rate: $17.00
