Project Overview:

Several combined cycle power projects are currently underway or planned to be developed and executed by Bechtel over the next 5-10 years. During the development phase of these projects, teams will be organized to support multiple projects concurrently. Following project award, dedicated project teams will be formed, and personnel will be assigned to each combined cycle project to manage the interfaces with the Power Island equipment vendor.

Job Summary:

The Power Island Subcontract Manager will be responsible for managing the relationship, contractual or otherwise, between Bechtel and the Power Island vendor(s). Your coordination and support will ensure that complex technical issues are resolved, internal clients are satisfied, and project needs are met.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to work with senior Bechtel, Client and Supply Chain teams
• Knowledge of major power plant equipment and the key interfaces
• Prior experience with formation and administration of agreements for power island equipment on combined cycle power plants or other power generation facilities
• Prepares commercial terms and conditions for agreements of high risk or complexity, ensuring that requirements of the prime contract are incorporated
• Analyzes commercial terms and conditions to highlight areas of risk such as ambiguities, conflicts, or deviations from the scope of work
• Ability to read project schedules and identify key engineering milestones to maintain critical path
• Knowledge of the engineering process and understanding of inputs required to complete the major design deliverables required for construction
• Highly organized individual capable of working in a collaborative team environment
• Ability to organize and conduct interface coordination meetings
• Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to summarize interface requirements in an actionable format.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and TEAMS to create meeting minutes, action item lists, and setup virtual meetings
