Location/Division Specific Information
Join our Frederick team in Clinical Sequencing Division, crafting the future of the world.
How will you make an impact:
Full-time position, Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm. Support manufacturing documentation review for batch record release.
What will you do:
- Review manufacturing records with strong emphasis on Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Engage daily with production and quality team members to resolve quality issues and improve documentation practices.
- Work in a standard laboratory environment while adhering to room-specific PPE requirements.
- Complete Thermo Fisher Scientific training on time and align with all ISO and FDA standards for the Frederick site.
- Demonstrate outstanding attention to detail in reviewing alpha and numerical text, as well as symbols.
- Peer review team members' work to catch errors and collaborate to resolve issues.
- Perform with high accuracy to prevent non-conforming product delivery to customers.
- Maintain strong attendance and readiness to start work promptly every single day.
- Receive one-on-one training until proficient to work independently.
- Follow general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments.
Keys to Success:
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
Experience
- Minimum of 0-2 years related experience
- Experience in a life science company preferred
- Batch records knowledge and experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Proven ability to follow policies, procedures, and meet production schedules consistently.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and E1.
- Strong quality-minded focus with experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment.
- Attention to detail in an administrative setting.
- Positive and professional demeanor.
- Strong importance on teamwork and peer collaboration.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbally and written.
- Biology or chemistry background preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Operate in a GMP manufacturing setting. Adhere to PPE regulations: hairnet, beard net (if needed), lab coat, safety glasses, closed shoes.
- As a documentation review team member, you'll be working mostly with computers and documents.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $16.78–$25.16.
