JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The individual in the role of Senior Associate, Project Manager (Non-Scripted) is in charge of project management of original non-scripted IP franchises for young adults, families and kids, in the space of content development, 360 initiatives, marketing & branding, digital and monetization.

What you will do:

1. Project Management

  • Create timelines based on the approved project brief and its requirements
  • Ensure every milestone is broken down into tasks that is concretely defined with a person-in-charge and deadline
  • Monitor and manage project timelines and action plans daily. Anticipate and escalate any delays
  • Schedule and organise all meeting required for a project (e.g. briefings, approval sessions etc)
  • Ensure all relevant stakeholders are aligned to conduct meetings effectively and efficiently
  • Complete all necessary preparations for meetings (e.g. meeting agenda, attendees, meeting rooms, document templates)
  • Capture meeting minutes and next action plans during WIP meetings
  • Ensure all documentations are well-organised in the team's shared folder.

2. Content & 360 Initiatives Ideation & Management

  • Conduct consumer research, past project analysis and studying of local/global best practices in 360 initiatives (formats, digital, marketing, IP monetisation).
  • Initiate and ideate new 360 IP initiatives that will help achieve project gaols (e.g. revenue, viewership, innovation, ESG etc)
  • Work with internal and external stakeholder to ensure flawless execution of content & 360 initiatives that meets the requirements of the approved brief
  • Monitor and track viewership & revenue of on-going IP projects

REQUIREMENTS:

Who you are:

Knowledge, Education, Work Experience:-

  • University degree in broadcasting, mass communication, marketing, business or related fields
  • Minimum 3-4 years of work experience in project management, strategy & analysis roles, a bonus if have background in the entertainment industry, marketing agencies, production work etc.
  • Strong passion for the entertainment industry - consumes a variety of local, regional, global content, and ability to dissect what worked & areas of improvement.

Practical skills and/or abilities:-

  • Microsoft Office skills (Power Point, Words, Excel etc)
  • Presentation skills
  • Data Analysis
  • Organizational framework techniques
  • Proficient written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia & English

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Proactive and creative in problem solving
  • Able to work independently of a supervisor
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate well across multiple teams of people
  • Quick thinking & able to pivot under stressful situations
