Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and experienced machine operators to join our team across 2nd and 3rd shifts. The role involves operating digital controlled machinery to process wire, ensuring it meets customer specifications. This position requires a solid experience in machine operation and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This position will start at $20-$24hr depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital controlled machinery and auxiliary equipment to produce quality products.
• Load raw materials, feed wire through the machine, and remove finished products.
• Change machinery settings and perform quality welds using the appropriate butt welder for the type and size of wire.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on all production and support equipment.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records using tape measures, micrometers, and calipers with metric measurements.
• Understand product quality, delivery, and scrap measurements.
• Operate machinery safely, adhering to all safety procedures and policies while wearing assigned PPE.
• Keep the work area clean and organized for the next operator.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Pass OSHA approved Forklift Training and maintain a valid license to operate a forklift.
• Adjust equipment for optimal operation with guidance from management and production supervisors.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with changing priorities.
• Participate in training sessions, employee meetings, committees, and project teams as appropriate.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $49920.00/yr.
