Job Description

Join a leading environmental company in Farmingdale, NJ as a Heavy Equipment Operator. With over 20 years of industry expertise, we specialize in site remediation, UST closure, and general site work for both residential and commercial projects. We are seeking a skilled operator to contribute to our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Skillfully operate small excavators, track, and backhoes.
• Perform site remediation and tank removals.
• Supervise and work collaboratively with on-site crews.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and valid driver's license; a CDL Class-A is a plus.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with heavy equipment.
• OSHA 40 certification is required.
• Experience in site remediation.
• Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Hazwoper certification is advantageous.
• CDL Class-A license is a plus.

Work Environment

Work on diverse projects throughout New Jersey, including both commercial and residential sites. The standard shift is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, providing a structured first shift work schedule.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WALL TOWNSHIP, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
