Job Title: Field Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Field Technician where you will be responsible for visiting customer sites to install CO2 monitors. This role involves light low voltage work, similar to installing fire alarms, using CAT 5 cabling. You will be working in commercial areas such as restaurants and gas stations due to new regulations on CO2 monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Install CO2 monitors at commercial customer sites.
  • Utilize CAT 5 cabling for monitor installations.
  • Communicate politely with customers to explain the purpose of the visit.
  • Document installations by taking photos and recording locations.
  • Drive to various customer locations, covering approximately 400 miles per week.
  • Meet at the shop before heading out to the sites.
  • Provide daily documentation of work completed.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in light construction, mechanical, or electrical work.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and installation equipment.
  • Competence in using a smartphone for GPS navigation and documentation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Possession of reliable transportation and necessary tools, including a ladder.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Low voltage or light electrical experience is beneficial.
  • Experience in driving for work purposes is advantageous.
  • No formal education or certifications required.

Work Environment

This position requires working independently across various customer sites with minimal field management. You will receive two days of training and must be capable of documenting your activities daily. Begin your workday by meeting at the shop before heading out to customer locations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
