Job Title: MIG Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder with expertise in welding and fabrication to join our dynamic team. This position requires a dedicated individual who can maintain high-quality standards while meeting production demands.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and weld parts using MIG welding (GMAW).
  • Use hand tools such as grinders, air and power tools.
  • Read, understand, and follow blueprints.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing protective equipment like safety shoes, goggles, and hoods with protective lenses.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure the highest standards are met.
  • Maintain productivity while prioritizing safety.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in welding and fabrication.
  • Experience with MIG welding (GMAW).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 years of previous experience in welding and fabrication.

Work Environment

The work environment includes two shifts: the 1st shift runs Monday-Thursday from 5:30am to 3:30pm and Friday from 5:30am to 2pm, while the 2nd shift operates Monday-Thursday from 4pm to 4am. Ensure safety by using appropriate equipment and attire as required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
