This is your chance to be part of the Finance team that is a critical business partner that manages all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management. As a Banking Analyst at the SSO Andean team, you will report directly to the SSO Andean Finance Manager. You will focus on balance sheet reconciliations, contract terminations, payroll processing and any other activity, as assigned by the manager.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Provide technical support to hotels on bank reconciliation issues.
  • Constant communication with the properties, mainly with income analysts of all hotels in Colombia.
  • Prepare reports of bank reconciliations and balances for internal or external reviews and audits.
  • Support and review payment control of all accruals to be made by hotels.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Periodic meetings with hotel directors of finance to review reports and accounting journals posted to the General Ledger.
  • Review of internal policies and procedures with others in the office.

What projects you will take ownership of:

  • Planning of strategies to improve internal processes, to be more efficient in the area.
  • Implement efficient treasury processes in all assignations according to each country's law and Hilton policies.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Six (6) months of experience in large volume of treasury processes
  • Knowledge in Bank systems such as, BBVA, Bancolombia, Banco Av Villas
  • One (1) year of Excel experience
  • Microsoft Windows apps, for example Word and Outlook
