Sheet Metal Assembler

Location: Everett, WA

Shift: 6:00AM - 4:30PM, M-Th, Overtime on Fridays

Pay: $26-32/hr, depending on experience.

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Sheet Metal Assemblers who can efficiently and accurately assemble components and materials in accordance with plans and specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry or roofing, material handling, and mechanical assembly. The successful candidate will work with metal cladding, insulation, and steel components while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble structural metal building panels in a manufacturing setting.
• Operate hand and power tools.
• Accurately use measuring devices including squares and tape measures.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication, assembly, repair, and installation.
• Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure down to 1/16th inch.
• 2+ years of experience in general trade skills for siding, roofing, metalworking, or assembly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with small part/electrical assembly in an industrial setting is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus.
• Positive attitude required; negative individuals will not be tolerated.
• Regularly required to have full range of mobility in the upper and lower body, and able to work in various positions.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment, lifting up to 70 pounds.

Work Environment

Work in an open-air building exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors. Collaborate in a team of 2-3 people and contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The dress code is casual and comfortable, suitable for a manufacturing setting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
