Hiring 4 Quality Inspectors in Fremont, paying $22.50/hr for swing shift!

Job Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will conduct product and quality process server inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards. You will meticulously document inspection results by completing reports and logs and inputting data into the quality database accurately. Daily audits of your assigned area will be conducted to verify tools for proper torque and calibrations, as well as ensuring adherence to Electrostatic Discharge procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct various product and quality process server inspections.
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, and correctly input data into the quality database.
  • Conduct daily audits of the assigned area to verify tools for proper torque and calibrations.
  • Verify proper Electrostatic Discharge procedures.
  • Use company camera to capture footage of servers before they proceed to test and repair teams.
  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
  • Collaborate within a team environment and effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

Essential Skills

  • Troubleshooting and rework capabilities.
  • Experience with test equipment and hardware testing.
  • Proficiency in software installation and visual inspections.
  • Knowledge of electronics, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Expertise in inspection, quality control, and quality inspection.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Requires at least 6 months of related experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
  • Capability to work on ladders.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Effective team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written directions.

Work Environment

This position involves working in a high-security, clean facility where standing for long periods is necessary. Ear protection is required due to loud environments. The role involves using both computer and pen-and-paper methods for documentation, with training provided for new staff. The dress code emphasizes safety, particularly regarding Electrostatic Discharge protocols.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
