Key job responsibilities

• Develop sophisticated machine learning solutions for video analysis and content moderation at scale
• Design and implement advanced algorithms to extract valuable insights from large video datasets, improving search functionality and content discovery
• Partner with engineering teams to deploy real-time models and create innovative product features
• Build automated, efficient, and scalable processes for comprehensive data analysis, model development, validation, and deployment
• Drive the adoption of technical best practices across teams
• Deliver production-quality code that creates superior customer experiences

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• PhD, or Master's degree and 3+ years of applied research experience
• 3+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with modeling tools such as R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, Tensorflow, numpy, scipy etc.
• 3+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience
• Experience with building Computer Vision models for business applications

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
