Job Summary
The primary role of the Shipping/Receiving and Packaging position is to assist in moving coiled steel material weighing range from One ton to 10 tons per coil, in and out of the facility. This role involves various tasks that change daily based on the mill's and customers' needs. The position works closely with the shipping office to package, ship, and receive materials as necessary and may require shift changes. Responsibilities include loading trucks, using the overhead receiving crane, running the bander, operating the Bay 4 crane, and packaging BWA dock material. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and a problem solver who can efficiently and accurately handle assignments. Flexibility in scheduling, including staying late or working weekends, is essential to meet customer needs.
Shift: This position follows a swing/rotating schedule, with shifts varying between the hours of 5:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Flexibility with work hours is essential.
Pay Range: $21.00-$25.00
