USD Head Start is seeking a Family Service Specialist. This position is responsible for promoting the involvement of parents in the education of their children. This includes recruitment and enrollment of children from eligible families into the program; providing support through connections with community and program resources and the facilitation of services to families to support the learning and living environment.
Position is 10 months (8/1 to 5/31 annually), 40 hours a week.
Applicants must have a bachelors degree in social work, human services, counseling or other closely related field and 1-3 years of experience working with families with young children.
