About the Role:

The Distribution Business Manager (DBM) is responsible for the management and enablement of key distribution partners across Australia and New Zealand with the aim of maintaining and growing the Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) from each of the distributors.

Working alongside management and the partner development manager, the DBM is responsible for the upskilling and enablement of distribution employees while also acting as the conduit between AvePoint and the distributor ultimately to create the strongest partnership that is mutually beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive growth of revenue through ANZ distribution partners.
  • Act as the distributor’s advocate and liaison to the AvePoint account team.
  • Create and execute strategic growth plans with each distributor in question in line with financial and qualitative goals.
  • Identify and define key growth opportunities within each Distributor either as part of their existing go to market or as part of a new bespoke go to market. r.
  • Be on site at each distributor at least 1 day per month. (4 days per month total)
  • Upskill and train distribution AE/AMs on the value of AvePoint, our platform and the alignment with M365.
  • Facilitate the movement of direct business through distribution (fulfilment)
  • Represent and build AvePoint’s public channel brand through participation in industry events, webinars, blitz days etc.
  • Manage a pipeline of distribution sourced business

  • Minimum 3 years in the Microsoft channel ecosystem
  • Experience working with and managing Distribution relationships
  • Experience contributing or owning strategic planning with distributors
  • Exceptional listener, highly empathetic to partner needs and perspectives
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize accordingly
