This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

HPE Aruba Networking is redefining the “IT Edge”. Creating new customer experiences by building intelligent spaces and digital workspaces. We are focused on campus, branch, mobility and the IoT to transform business models with the combined power of compute, context (AI/ML), control and secure connectivity.

We are looking for an extroverted, client-oriented and driven HPE Aruba Networking Presales Consultant for Germany who will generate leads and continue to expand opportunities.

In a typical day as a Presales Consultant, you would

  • Maintain and develop strategic relationship with our channel partners
  • Understand and translate customer technical and business requirements into product and solution designs
  • Collect experiences in use case talks with end customers and partners
  • Ensure technical knowledge is transferred to partner's sales force to enable partner driven technical presales & sales engagement
  • Prepare technical presentations and benchmarks on products
  • Alignment of technical work with channel partners to match customer requirements
  • Ensure technical product expertise, technical resources and tools are available enabling qualification and differentiation of the HPE Aruba Networking offering within the targeted segment through appropriate understanding of customer needs
  • Represent of HPE Aruba Networking in relevant national Business Associations (technical partner and end-user forums)
  • Participate to marketing activities, providing technical presales support when technical expertise is required
  • Be responsible for achieving Partner Certification Targets in order to meet HPE Aruba Networking and customer expectations
  • Validate and describe Specials request from technical point of view as well as from business perspective to drive customer requirements
  • Provide technical (solutions/products/technology/competitive) feedback from partners/end-users on our solutions/products to WW R&D

If you show these fields of Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Academic (graduate) degree, preferably in Computer engineering or at least 3 years’ experience in IT sales, presales or technical networking consulting
  • Profound knowledge of the networking market as well as knowledge of at least one vendors LAN / WLAN products & solutions. Any further vendor knowledge would be beneficial.
  • Good knowledge about wireless technologies (IEEE 802.11) and deployment strategies
  • Knowledge about authentication technologies (RADIUS, TACACS+, LDAP, SAML) and deployment strategies
  • Any certifications like HPE Aruba Networking Certifications, Cisco's CCNA, CCNP or CCIE or equivalent qualification are highly desired
  • Experiences in setup and operating proof of concepts including practical configuration of networking products
  • A self-motivated, go-and-get approach and the will to win
  • Strong presentation and technical communication skills
  • An organized, team approach
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluent English and German language skills
