Job Description

As a Landscape Architect, you will be responsible for managing a variety of projects ranging from residential to institutional. This position requires direct mentorship of junior staff, collaboration on design drawings, and conducting environmental assessments of sites. You will prepare plans for approval by relevant agencies and engage in regular meetings with clients and agencies. An understanding of development design and the review and approval processes within various local agencies is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a wide range of projects including residential, mixed-use, commercial, and institutional.
  • Mentor junior staff and collaborate on developing design drawings.
  • Conduct environmental assessments of sites and prepare plans for agency approval.
  • Engage in regular meetings with clients and agencies.
  • Understand development design and review and approval processes within local agencies.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in software such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, SketchUp, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in landscape designing using common software.
  • Degree in Landscape Architecture or Engineering.
  • Knowledge of Civil 3D, Land FX, and graphic design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with urban development, urban design, land planning, and project planning software.

Work Environment

The work environment is extremely collaborative, requiring communication with engineers and other designers. You will report to a Sr Landscape Architect and work alongside a junior Landscape Architect. The company fosters a great culture with company events to maintain togetherness across different offices. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $39.00/hr.
