Job Title: Manufacturing Associate

Job Description

The role of Manufacturing Associate involves producing reagents and products in compliance with ISO 9001/2015 standards and established procedures. This includes preparing routine reagents for inventory and finished goods through both manual and automated processes for protein purification and conjugations. The position also involves making recommendations for process improvements, documenting manufacturing steps with good documentation practices, and performing in-process testing as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture reagents and products according to ISO 9001/2015 requirements and established procedures.
  • Perform routine reagent preparation for inventory and finished goods using both manual and automated processes.
  • Support and recommend process improvements.
  • Document all manufacturing steps using good documentation practices.
  • Perform in-process testing as required.
  • Maintain production equipment and facilities in clean, good working condition using established protocols.
  • Work with hazardous materials following specified safety precautions.
  • Conduct inventory control of raw materials and supplies.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe laboratory environment following health and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate within the team and department to follow best practices and meet department goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the operation.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in pipetting and reagent preparation.
  • Knowledge of SOP and medical device processes.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences concentration.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. unassisted.
  • Capability to work with animal plasma/serum-based products.
  • Ability to wear latex gloves and safety glasses.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
