Job Title: Engineering Technician

Job Description

The engineering team is seeking highly motivated entry-level engineering technicians to support accelerated product durability testing.

Responsibilities

• Execute tests by setting up, performing inspections, conducting maintenance, and retrofits.
• Document and report any issues identified during tests or inspections.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve mechanical and electrical issues discovered.
• Support engineers in instrumentation and data acquisition.
• Assist and learn from other technicians and engineers.
• Assemble and wire test fixtures.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in mechanical systems.
• Experience with hand tools and vehicles.
• Ability to diagnose issues.
• Understanding of Ohm's Law and electrical principles.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems.
• Understanding of wiring diagrams.

Work Environment

The position is based in a lab environment at Kato, where your desk will be located. Although there is ongoing construction, you will be working next to chambers and equipment. The lab environment encourages technicians to ask questions and grow personally, offering a long-term career path.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
