Job Description

The Injection Molding Process Engineer will manage and optimize injection molding processes, ensuring the production of high-quality components. This role involves overseeing molding machine setup, troubleshooting, process improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize injection molding processes to ensure high-quality, consistent, and cost-effective production.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for injection molding machines and automation equipment.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance production performance.
• Work closely with product development, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless integration of automation systems.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of process parameters, equipment performance, and improvement initiatives.
• Provide training and support to team members on the operation and maintenance of automation systems.
• Develop and implement automated systems to optimize injection molding processes, reduce cycle times, and improve overall efficiency.
• Ensure all automated systems and processes comply with safety regulations and company policies.

Minimum Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in process/manufacturing engineering
• 3+ years of experience within molding processes

Work Environment

The role involves working 70% on the floor with materials, SOP documentation, and process improvement, and 30% in the office conducting process and project research. The manufacturing environment is climate-controlled, offering comfort and efficiency. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00/hr.
