Job Title: Phlebotomist

Job Description

Join a dynamic team in a busy patient service center where you will perform blood draws and manage specimen processing. This position requires comfort with handling 30-40 draws daily, engaging in data entry, and preparing labs for shipment. Experience in a hospital or outpatient lab setting is preferred, as is a proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct 30-40 blood draws daily without assistance.
  • Perform data entry and manage specimen processing.
  • Prepare labs for shipment.
  • Administer a full menu of testing.
  • Rotate between front desk duties, patient service, and other testing responsibilities.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 6 months of clinical phlebotomy experience required.
  • Proficiency in phlebotomy, blood draws, and venipuncture.
  • Experience in a hospital or outpatient lab setting is strongly preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate of a phlebotomy school or program is preferred.
  • Familiarity with testing menu is advantageous.
  • Phlebotomy certification is preferred but not required.
  • Plasma experience should be complemented by traditional phlebotomy skills.

Work Environment

The position operates Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. The dress code includes scrubs and closed-toe shoes, with lab coats provided. This role offers the opportunity for growth and experience in a thriving national outpatient setting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
