Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Survey CAD Technician to join our team. This role involves creating detailed survey drawings, maps, and plans, while ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of surveying principles and be proficient in CAD software.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed survey drawings, maps, and plans using CAD and MicroStation software.
  • Interpret field data and survey notes to create accurate CAD models.
  • Collaborate with surveyors and project managers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Maintain and organize survey data and CAD files.
  • Assist in the preparation of survey reports and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for CAD-related issues.
  • Stay updated with the latest CAD software developments and best practices.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in CAD and MicroStation software.
  • Strong understanding of surveying principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Surveying, Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in survey drafting using CAD and MicroStation.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
