Overview
As a Production Technician, you’ll play a critical role in producing high-quality cannabis products in a safe, efficient, and compliant environment. You’ll support various stages of the production process—from extraction and packaging to quality assurance—while working in both indoor, climate-controlled settings and greenhouse environments.

What You’ll Do
- Extraction: Operate and monitor extraction equipment to safely produce cannabis concentrates.
- Lab Support: Prepare samples, maintain lab equipment, and follow safety and quality standards.
- Packaging: Accurately weigh, label, and seal products for distribution.
- Quality Assurance: Perform regular quality checks to ensure product consistency.
- Sanitation: Maintain clean and sanitized workspaces and equipment.
- Compliance: Adhere to all internal procedures and state/local cannabis regulations.
- Inventory Tracking: Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies promptly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with your team to meet daily production goals.
- Other Duties: Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the Production Manager.
Essential Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment following established safety and quality procedures.
- Package and label products accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct basic quality inspections.
- Complete production logs and inventory records with precision.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace through regular sanitation.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Adapt to new tools, processes, and expectations in a fast-paced setting.
- Perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications
Required:
- 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid government-issued photo ID
Preferred:
- Experience in cannabis, laboratory, or manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with extraction processes, production software, and documentation practices
- Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly
- Stand and move continuously during shifts
- Perform physical tasks such as squatting, bending, and repetitive motion
- Wear required PPE (e.g., safety glasses, footwear)
