We are currently seeking Brake Press Operators to join a thriving fabrication team in Lake Crystal in a Direct Hire Role on 1st, 2nd and weekend shift. As Brake Press Operator , you will be responsible for operating advanced machinery to cut, bend, and shape steel parts used in the assembly process. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.

1st shift: Monday-Thursday 5:45AM-4:15PM + Overtime on Fridays

2nd shift: Monday-Thursday 4:15pm-2:45AM + Overtime on Fridays

Weekend: Friday-Sunday 5:00AM-5:00PM

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate brake press

Assist with continuous process improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices

Move materials between work centers as needed Interpret job specifications, blueprints, and measurements using tools like micrometers and T-squares

Maintain a clean, safe work environment and wear required protective gear

Skills:

Familiarity with reading blueprints and measuring tools

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

Basic math skills for machine setup and measurements

Ability to manually lift up to 50 lbs. and operate overhead hoists

Ability to work on concrete floors and stand for long periods

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Ability to rotate between different machines and tasks based on team and production needs
