What will you do?

  • Oversee all aspects of the Sportsbook and Simulcast floor, including cashier assignments, supervisor duties, and overall customer experience.
  • Motivate, train, and manage the Sportsbook and Simulcast team to deliver exceptional customer service and meet operational goals.
  • Monitor and report on Sportsbook and Simulcast performance, including customer satisfaction, staff efficiency, and any operational issues.
  • Responsible for the production of the work schedules for Sportsbook and Simulcast department.
  • Follow departmental and company compliance measures and procedures.
  • Ensure all local and state regulations are always adhered to.
  • Verify cash drawers, reports, and guest activity; monitor for suspicious activity.
  • Record all variance and compliance exceptions when they arise. Conduct investigations as needed.
  • Produce departmental statistical operation reports when required.
  • Conduct pre- and post-shift meetings with associates; ensure all money has been accounted for.
  • Assist in the preventative maintenance of all sports and parimutuel betting kiosks (cleaning, changing paper when out, clear machines of old tickets, etc.).
  • Take guest disputes and research and follow up on those disputes until resolution occurs.
  • Assist with marketing of Sportsbook and Simulcasting.
  • Work with 3rd party providers.
  • Ensure content is correct for Odds Walls, Kiosk, Tills, Betting sheets and Programs.
  • Title 31 & AML reporting.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

More about you

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Previous pari-mutuel race and sports betting experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain an Arkansas Gaming License.

Physical requirements

  • Ability to lift or carry 30 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to stoop, reach, and bend, as necessary.
  • Ability to respond to visual cues, excellent vision including peripheral views.
