Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal Camper Service Attendants to join our team at Loft Mountain in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. As a Camper Service Attendant, you will sell retail merchandise to guests, creating an excellent experience for our guests at all times.

Pay

$17.75 - $17.75 / hour

What will you do?

  • Process sale with point of sale system and bag merchandise
  • Maintain records related to sales
  • Routinely stock merchandise and maintain back-stock
  • Cleans and maintains all shower, bathroom and laundry areas including floors and surfaces, gathers and removes trash.
  • Interacts and communicates effectively, answers questions and provides shower and laundry services to campsite guests.
  • Provides change as needed.
  • Maintains safety, reports all leaks, damages and broken equipment to management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

More about you

  • Should enjoy working as a custodian and interacting with people.
  • Able to work responsibly without supervision and follow instructions.
  • Good eye for detail and organization including time management.
  • Mathematical ability required to count money and make change.
  • Requires good communication skills to provide friendly and efficient customer service.

Physical requirements

  • Requires ability to lift and carry 30 pounds.
  • Will stand the entire length of shift with frequent walking, bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching repetitively.
  • Ability to grasp items with hands to clean showers, bathrooms, floors and surfaces, use mops and brooms.
  • Exposure to and use of chemicals required to properly clean and sanitize surfaces, equipment and areas.
