We are looking for exceptional software engineers/developers in our PBM Plus Technology Organization. In this role, you will identify the tasks and responsibilities of developing distributive applications, utilizing COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM. Candidate must be team oriented and have interpersonal skills, as the existing team values productive collaboration to enable high output and good business value. This role requires making well-thought-out decisions on complex or ambiguous issues and effectively communicates to individuals at all levels of the technical and business communities. The Software Engineering Lead Analyst must develop a strong affiliation with the requirements, technology solution and operational readiness organizations, including the ability to use, share, contribute and influence the appropriate artifacts, approach and best practices used to build enterprise-scale solutions.

Responsibilities

Be hands-on in the design and development of robust solutions to hard problems, while considering scale, security, reliability, and cost

Support other product delivery partners in the successful build, test, and release of solutions

Be part of a fast-moving team, working with the latest tools and open-source technologies

Work on a development team using agile methodologies.

Understand the Business and the Application Architecture End to End

Solve problems by crafting software solutions using maintainable and modular code.

Participate & potentially lead daily team standup meetings where you'll give and receive updates on the current backlog and challenges.

Participate in code reviews. Ensure Code Quality and Deliverables

Provide Impact analysis for new requirements or changes. Responsible for low level design with the team

May lead or manage sizable projects

Provides thought leadership and technical expertise across the PBM technology organization

This role will act in a senior manner, potentially leading scrum teams, being held accountable for projects and mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

Requires strong knowledge of the following technology skill sets – Mainframe COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, Teradata

Experience designing and developing process-based solutions or BPM (business process management)

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

Strong influencing/negotiation skills.

Strong interpersonal/relationship skills.

Strong time and project management skills.

Familiarity with agile methodology including SCRUM team leadership.

Familiarity with modern delivery practices such as continuous integration, behavior/test driven development, and specification by example.

Required Experience & Education:

6-8+ years of experience in developing mainframe batch and online applications, utilizing Cobol/DB2/CICS/JCL/VSAM

Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Technology Management, or related field of study.

Desired Experience:

Healthcare experience including Disease Management

Coaching of team members

Location & Hours of Work:

Full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Expected overlap with US hours as appropriate

Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India in a hybrid working model (3 days WFO and 2 days WAH
