The Inside Sales Support role enhances our sales team's effectiveness by assisting our inside sales team by managing schedules, communicating with clients, and handling administrative tasks that contribute to the direct sales process. This position is crucial for maintaining excellent customer service and ensuring the sales team operates efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative assistance, including managing emails, calls, and the preparation of sales reports and presentations.
  • Handle client inquiries over the phone or email, providing initial support and redirecting queries to the appropriate sales personnel.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and promotions to support accurate and efficient customer service.
  • Process orders and quotes, ensuring accuracy in terms and pricing.
  • Support the sales team in achieving their monthly and annual targets by providing effective administrative support and customer service.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation and timely processing of sales orders.
  • Prepare and organize documentation related to sales, such as contracts and sales agreements.

Breakdown of Duties:

Sales Assistance:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to create and manage sales documents, proposals, and contracts.
  • Assist in preparing and organizing sales presentations and RFP and Tenders
  • Respond to customer inquiries/ ETA and provide product information.
  • Maintain service agreements and monitor and maintain hitting date targets for invoicing.
  • Support the sales team in achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Order Processing:

  • Process and track sales orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Proactively handling open orders – any over net 30 must be identify and actively engaged in quickly moving order thru.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

Customer Support:

  • Act as a point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and providing necessary information.
  • Work closely with the service and sales team to resolve customer issues or concerns.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other internal departments, including, finance, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Communicate effectively with the sales team to share information and updates.
  • Complete assigned vendor sales accreditations
