THE ROLE:

As a Concierge at Park Hyatt Chicago, you will be the cornerstone of personalized guest service, delivering an elevated and intuitive experience that reflects the hotel’s refined luxury. Acting as both a knowledgeable local expert and a trusted advisor, you will curate memorable stays through tailored recommendations, exclusive reservations, and flawless execution of requests ranging from fine dining and cultural outings to transportation and wellness experiences. Your deep understanding of Chicago’s vibrant culinary, entertainment, and arts scenes will allow you to connect guests with the best the city has to offer, always with discretion and attention to detail. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate closely with front office, housekeeping, and food and beverage teams to ensure every guest interaction is thoughtful and seamless. WAGE INFORMATION:

The hourly rate for this position is $26.00. This position is also eligible to earn overtime and premium pay under certain circumstances.

Qualifications

• Luxury Hospitality Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a concierge role within a Forbes-rated, AAA Five Diamond, or comparable luxury hotel environment. Prior experience with high-profile or VIP clientele is strongly preferred.
• Service Excellence: A demonstrated passion for refined, anticipatory service with the ability to consistently deliver warm, discreet, and intuitive guest interactions aligned with Forbes Travel Guide standards.
• Cultural & Local Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Chicago’s fine dining, arts, shopping, entertainment, and cultural offerings, with the ability to craft bespoke itineraries and access exclusive experiences on behalf of guests.
• Professional Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently and graciously across a diverse global clientele. Multilingual fluency is a significant advantage.
• Poise & Problem-Solving: Composure, discretion, and a polished demeanor under pressure, with the ability to manage complex requests and resolve issues seamlessly and professionally.
• Tech & Tools Proficiency: Comfortable using property management systems, digital concierge tools, and communication platforms.
• Flexible Availability: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support a 24-hour luxury operation and consistently meet the needs of high-profile guests.
