Carelon's Chief Product Office is looking to hire a Go to Market Director to align to their Pharmacy Benefit Management Product Line. This Director will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the go-to-market strategies for CarelonRx, partnering with Elevance Health's commercial leaders and PBM product teams. This position is vital in driving the business forward with financial-oriented, revenue generating PBM products that include specialty and traditional network offerings, such as EnsureRx and Cost Relief. By working alongside influential teams within Elevance Health, including the Commercial Go To Market Operations team and Go To Market Strategy team, the Director will ensure strategic alignment and effective sales enablement. The role will invigorate the structured GTM processes for the product launch, positioning, and sale of integrated PBM products.

How You Will Make An Impact:

  • Partner with sales leadership to craft engaging sales presentations tailored for roadshows, ensuring that sales teams understand what, how, and when to sell PBM products effectively.
  • Facilitate strategic internal and external alignment by supporting consultancy advisory councils, and presenting at sales and account management leadership forums regarding product updates.
  • Define and disseminate the value proposition of PBM products, equipping teams with education to communicate effectively.
  • Provide input into and extend influence over sales new-hire training materials, ensuring alignment with go-to-market strategies.
  • Define structured go-to-market processes, emphasizing pre-planning and coordinated sales rollouts with discipline to maximize impact.
  • Collaborate closely with Elevance Health commercial teams, leveraging insights into market drivers to anticipate needs and mitigate disconnects.
  • Drive relationships with key internal and external business partners including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Products, Network, and Member Experience, aligning strategic and communication plans.
  • Act as a change agent by translating broad strategies into actionable tactics, projects, and timelines that align with CarelonRx's strategic goals.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in go-to-market processes, implementing industry best practices and influencing partners to deliver valued solutions on time.
  • Manage the financial aspects related to portfolio projects, tracking outcomes against segment strategies to inform future activities, and presenting high-quality insights to executive management.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experience:

  • Experience in a go to market role or function for commercial health benefit products or commercial PBM/pharmacy benefit products.
  • Experience building or working inside an end-to-end Go To Market process framework, well defined with structure and interconnectedness to Product teams and Product Lifecycle Management governance.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $134,728 to $220,464
