As an experienced Senior Software Engineer in Support organization aligned with the client team, you will work in a team environment to provide functional and technical expertise/consulting to our clients. As you work with Oracle Health technologies, you will prioritize, plan, and deliver solution-specific requests and projects both independently and in a collaborative and fast-paced team environment.

You will use your technical and CCL skills to perform investigations of scripts and the functionalities directly impacted. Creating net new scripts/programs, do requirements gathering, designing and deploy reports, tools/utilities and so on.

You will also use your expertise to bring about Oracle Health’s innovations and capabilities. Our Software Engineers are also responsible for creating and maintaining documentation and knowledge transfer materials across the lifecycle of a project/ investigation.

Your goal is to provide tangible and measurable value outcomes that improve care delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or master’s degree in IT, Healthcare or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Experience and very good understanding in CCL (Cerner Command Language), integrated solution modules, Java Scripting, HTML.

At least 9+ years of experience.

Experience in other scripting languages would be an added advantage.

Experience working with Oracle Health Millennium.

Experience in CCL and technical troubleshooting skills.

Experience working in Support or Application Managed Services organization.

Expectations:

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations.
  • Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise.
  • Consult with clients on service line workflow and guide them through interdependencies and design decision impacts for custom CCL reporting and custom CCL scripting.
  • Provide support on Custom scripts developed by the client and Oracle Health.
  • Provide solution oversight, direction, and expertise to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain complex CCL scripts and applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CCL.
  • Drive client-specific solution configuration design to meet workflow requirements and make recommendations to clients.
  • Mitigate solution risks and issues.
  • Lead client meetings and events.
  • Drive internal team initiatives.
  • Travel need will be based on business (10% - 20%).
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
